BRANDING

The Market Network brings the community together through markets and trading spaces. The focus is for food lovers however the business can support a range of business types.

THE PROBLEM

Re brand from Squid Ltd to The Market Network as the old business name and branding used to bring confusion to clients by giving a “Fish Market” wrong focus branding impression.

My Role

Design a logo pack with different variations to be used on all digital and print content. Alongside the logo package also create a brand guidelines document to be used as reference when needed.

THE BRAND

Primary Logo

PRIMARY
LOGO

The primary logo is the mark that represents the business. The font chosen has been manipulated to make the brand unique.

The market icon was designed to replace the letter A of “MARKET”.

SECONDARY
LOGO

The secondary logo was inspired by the Shadwell Bridge located in East London. Which was where the first market took place when the business first launched a few years ago.

The business owner William has a sentimental attachment to the first area the business launched. Therefore he asked for this detailed logo to be created which goes really well on print material such as bags, t-shirts etc…

SUBMARK
LOGO

Another version of the logo, more simplified. The submark is available to be used anywhere when the primary logo is not as suitable.
